I filled my tank today & suffered a bit of sticker shock...

Eastern Iowa -- $2.21 per gallon for ethanol (about 2-3 cents for more for non-ethanol)

I swear it was about $2 per gallon a week or so ago.

I bought a 1997 Volvo from my brother that requires Premium. I have an 88 Honda that I drive when it isn't raining, which isn't often. Also, a zillion people have moved here so the freeways are packed, and big rigs plow into cars every hour or so. I drive my Volvo on the freeways to save on hospital bills. Just got a bill from a "clinic" that was acquired by a corporation. What would have cost a maximum of $100 was $600 now. Add that to your bottom line profits, shareholders!
