I don't know what kind of crack this guy is smoking, but I would love to
be this high and out of touch with reality.

http://news.yahoo.com/s/usatoday/stateoftheunionnotsogoodmostsay

"The country's downbeat mood poses a challenge for the president as he tries to command support for the legislative agenda he'll unveil for his sixth year in office. With a 43% approval rating, he is in "a weakened position trying to convince Congress to do whatever it is in the State of the Union that he wants them to do," says Charles Franklin of the University of Wisconsin."

Weakened position with Congress???
Please.
They are a fucking rubberstamp most of the time.

1. Chris DeCaro, 20, of Farmington, Mich...Send his name to the...
recruitment office.

He likes the Iraq War. He should go there and fight.

2. What a load.
I was in a sales meeting on Monday. Guess what?
SALES ARE DOWN.
And management wants to know why. Bwwaahhhahahah! Not really.
They want an explanation that they can DO something about.

One particularly dense guy said, "The customers are buying into this bad economy thing".

For real. He thinks the business owners ARE BEING TRICKED INTO THINKING THAT THE ECONOMY IS BAD.
IN MICHIGAN!
And he was NOT alone.
Who are you going to believe, Bush or your own lying eyes? And checkbook, and impending foreclosure...

I swear, the people around here would be willingly led to the slaughter like cattle if they thought there was a paycheck at the end of the line.

I TRIED to keep my mouth shut like the smart little sales drone I am, but they wanted "input".
Hope I managed to give an obtuse enough answer!

3. I think he may be partly right...
I think Slumpy is in a weakened position for those in Congress up for re-election this year.
Hopefully, he'll drag them down even further in the next few months.
