Thunderstorms tonight. Lightning flashes and thunder rolls across
the plains. This is MARCH or APRIL weather yet here we are in January. I am in Kearney, NE and this winters weather is beyond abnormal, it is perverse.

1. shouldn't you be under a foot of snow about now?
meanwhile, my old home state (OK) prays for rain/relief ... global warming--gee, what's that :eyes:

5. We left our windows open all night
We should be having highs of about 15 to 25 degrees. Our weather for the whole MONTH of January has run a full 18 degrees above normal. Highs this week have been in the upper 50's and lower 60's. The thunderstorms are forming again this afternoon. This is late spring weather. I don't know what's going to come of this place but it will never be what it was before again in my lifetime. Our river is gone. The once mighty Platte is a grassy plain here now that has to be mowed in the spring and summer.

2. I know what you mean.
I'm in Yorkshire in the north of England. We should have had several snowfalls by now, but we've only had one that was gone in a day, while the southern part of the country has had blizzards when they normally don't have much of anything.

There are actually flowers blooming on some of our trees. In January. This isn't right and it makes me uneasy.

4. Just don't look up during the day and everything's fine.
Chems in our atmosphere couldn't possibly be accelerating (slowing down according to the genius who came up with the plan) global warming?

Look up people. There is lots that is not normal, at all.
