Who will lead us into the light?
Not Conyers. And he's the brightest star out there. Let me explain. If you have ever needed an attorney for anything financial, they may have suggested that some people put their money ________ (fill in the blank). They cannot suggest that YOU do this, because it is unlawfull. Most of our representatives are lawyers.

So here we sit, hurtling toward a Fascistic/Theologic/Corporotist Empire, and we seem to be looking for all the answers from the people who hold power. The subtle message that I hear coming back from the select few honest lawmakers is: If real change is to come, you must do it yourselves. Remember, they are bound by their positions to be the negotiators, not the force behind change.

The Right saw a lillylivered responce to Gore vs. Florida, and have run amok ever since. That was their signal that they had captured territory without a fight and now disregard all voices of reason to push the Neocon agenda. Republican politicians have become the chief CEO's for all the CEO's. No more than ultra lobbiests for the interest of Empire over the individual that resembles the worst of Wal-mart.

But if change is to happen, and it would be a radical change, it must come from us. Do I hate America? In it's present form, Yes.

read MLK, Ghandhi and others... if you think the ballot box is the only way... then indeed you have lost the way.
For god sakes, read the Founding Fathers... There are so many freaking ways to revolt in large and small
ways that it amazes me the quetion is even asked.

11. This country is ruled by public opinion
that is why they ramping up the fear again.

That is why there is no one person or government body that can change society. Society has to change first in order for us to put an end to the madness.

6. Some changes that must happen:
- No electronic voting
- No wars without proof and congressional declaration
- No eavesdropping on citizens without FISA
- Universal Healthcare
- Public financed elections
- The middle class must not pay the corporations taxes
- Must protect the environment
- Alternative energies now

These are a tidbit of what must happen. Can you see these happening without a Revolution?

3. I fear
it will come down to fighting,in the street ,fighting where the people break down the brriers of haves to feed the have nots.

Sad thing is the haves have been preparing thier defenses, they have nasty crowd control weapons and have altered the law, ruined the economy bought up all avaliable space and they with thier media have deluded masses of obedient bullies with religion and"tradition" that they are barely controlled by pulpit pundits they wanna go out and beat up a fag a homeless person or librul.

You canot negotiate with a fascist nor expect any boundaries to not be violated with bullies.

The rich will fight with every last loyal puppet and tool they have before they EVER dare come out of thier gated compunds and face us and reliquish power and be forecd to twell the truth and share the wealth. The parasitic rich will jettison themselves to another planet rather than be accountable to the host(us) for the damage done.

8. I agree except
that who we fight against is not the rich guy living in the gated community. He will be forced to live a different lifestyle once the change has happened. He won't be happy, but who gives a rat's ass how he feels.

5. I'll share my thoughts
In order to win in national politics you must build coalitions across geographic areas. You need to find a group that can be peeled away from their current affiliation and induced to vote differently. Divisive politics is killing us, we need someone with the gifts to reverse the divisive trends that really accellerated with the impeachment of Clinton and probably began in the 70's with the increased emphasis in the Chrisitian groups to use every effort to get their members to vote as a monolithic block on a national scale.

So what inducements can be used? I leave that for some others to ponder. They can't be the ones that did not work in 2000 and 2004.

13. Dear Jim,
None of this matters until are voting is secure. I need to remind you that both 2000, 2002, 2004 were stolen. ** numbers were not in the 50's November 2004. Truth be told he was probably in the low 40's or upper 30's. If we knew the truth now I would suspect he is in the 20's.

Voting and Media are their biggest weapons. The media serves up plausibility, the machines steals the votes. We can not expect change until those are returned to the people.

15. So
I can see I am talking to someone with a lot of perseverence. You'll need it because you have your work cut out for you convincing people of that. So maybe its not wise spending it here talking to me. Take care.

18. You don't have to be so sarcastic.
It is just a reality we have to face.

Got any ideas about how to fix that?

7. We Are the Ones We've Been Waiting For...
We have been telling the people that this is the Eleventh Hour
Now you must go back and tell the people that this is the Hour
And there are things to be considered.
Where are you living?
What are you doing?
What are your relationships?
Are you in the right relation?
Where is your water?

Know your garden.
It is time to speak your truth
Create your community.
Be good to each other.
And do not look outside yourself for the leader.
This could be a good time!
There is a river flowing now very fast
It is so great and swift that there are those who will be afraid.
They will try to hold onto the shore.
They will feel they are being torn apart and they will suffer greatly.
Know the river has its destination.
The elders say we must let go of the shore, and push off and into the river,
Keep our eyes open, and our head above the water.
See who is in there with you and Celebrate.
At this time in history, we are to take nothing personally.
Least of all ourselves.
For the moment that we do,

Our spiritual growth and journey comes to a halt.

The time of the lone wolf is over, Gather yourselves!
Banish the word struggle from your attitude and your vocabulary.
All that you do now must be done in a sacred manner
And in celebration.

"We are the ones we've been waiting for..."

9. No one. We have to do it ourselves.
I have an innate mistrust of Men/Women On Horseback. It's up to us, and we are on our own.

14. So we need a Liberal Ross Perot???
Someone to inform the people as he did with twenty minute infomercials using charts and graphs. I agree a neutral person would be a very huge force about now. Cindy Sheehan anyone??? Or is she too far gone in her grief? Oprah maybe??? I can't figure who that could be that could also mount the resources needed to run a campaign. It will take wealth combined with wisdom and truth...
