Will the Palestinians wind up in civil war? |
|
There seems to be quite a bit of unrest going on at least in Gaza. I'm just curious as to what people think. Will Hamas and Fatah be able to work together? Predictions anyone?

1. I don't think so. The Fatah protesters lit fires, but didn't destroy or |

become violent. They are concerned that Fatah would be dissolving after the election, which is not the case. They were afraid that, because of the immense change, they would be in danger. They weren't scared of their Hamas counterparts. Many of the Fatah protesters were asking members of their party, accused of being corrupt, to resign after the elections.
I don't think there will be a civil war amongst the Palestinian people.

Fatah looks done. Decades of corruption and lack of vision and inability to deliver on their promises of a palestinian state. Our policies have routinely and it seems intentionally destroyed every secular nationalist force in the muslim world.
