The "Current TV" video which DUers helped vote up.
Several weeks ago, I asked people at DU to vote up a video "Made in the USA" about police in NYC breaking up a peaceful protest.

It will be shown on TV within a half-hour (at the time of this writing.)

You can also watch it online:

It's by Voytek Szczytko.

3. Chilling ans sad.
He is quite correct there. Even on the video it's obvious the Cop rally did start it and there was a plant once it's pointed out.

4. The police were regulated in spying on protest groups before
September 11, 2001, but afterwards a judge decided to toss that arrangement and let the NYPD spy on whomever they want. Apparently, the judge thought that would make us safer.

Actually, when the police can spy on whomever they want, they spy on protesters instead of doing more difficult police work to find people planning a terrorist attack.

5. "When American freedom dies...
what do you think will happen to the rest of the world?" I don't know Voytek but I hope not what you are thinking.

That was excellent and a must see. Thank you Eric.
