This is scary, and one more reason not to shop at Wally World, but if the chip is on the box and you pay cash for the item, once you throw the box away nothing is there to track, right?
Also, if the chip is on the item itself, how does one disable it? All you techies out there could come up with an idea. Put item (some, anyway) in a microwave?? Don't laugh!
