1. I dunno, I tend to get irrational after the swiftboating of Ghandi :)

7. It's in my thead about the breastfeeding mother.
I almost alerted it, but what the hay, I support free speech, so instead I left before I acted like a child because I was angry.

9. Thanks.
I will look for it. There really isn't much need to react to those who would "swiftboat" Gandhi. They do all the work necessary to discredit themselves.

24. When I slurred Ghandi I was in the middle of a battle with 6 people
at one time. I was loose and knew-jerk and trying to explain why I don't have sympathy for insurgents.

300 posts and 150 of them was me responding to why I reacted so the the OP.

Went on for hours.

It is another take. But no - I am not a neocon.

26. I messed up your thread. I knee-jerked. I think rummy is using the
insurgency to keep war going constantly. He keeps messing up any hope of progress. I slured Ghandi when I wasn't thinking. I was in a thread of 300 where I responded 150 times. Was messy. I'm sorry.

I will just bet! The freeps want to find out what we're doing. I'm sure the little jackbooters believe that we all think alike, just like they do.

Because the moderators would rightly delete that thread.

That's what the alert button is for.

16. Sorry. Kinda what I thought.
I sometimes think I've encountered a freep, but I always feel a little guilty, as if I am being too judgmental. Is there some way to "know" by the way the freeper posts?

12. OK, I'm a little paranoid because of my dissolute Republican past....
...what's a freeperish post? I've seen some obvious stuff before, but I'm not sure what folks are seeing today that raises the freeper alert.

Hopefully nothing I've said... (Yeah, I feel a little paranoid that my Former Republican past might be leaking out now and again - shudder.)

15. It has nothing to do with you or your republican past, in fact
to me that is a plus. but just read some of the OP's and tell me some of them doesn't sound like a re:puke: talking point. My intent was not to call anyone out on to call attention to it.
peace :toast:

21. If you're talking about people
who have posted, as I have, that the repubs already have the votes for cloture, don't forget to include will pitt in that number. I've also stated that I think that the filibuster move is largely a political move. and I don't see anything wrong with that. It solidifies the base and gets people on the same page. If I'm wrong, great. Nothing I'd rather see than Alito's confirmation come to a screeching halt. Just as an aside, I think these threads have a vaguely McCarthyish odor to them

28. Not Really That Much More Than Expected. What is freeperist to you though
Edited on Sat Jan-28-06 10:46 PM by OPERATIONMINDCRIME
, just OP's that you don't agree with? Or are they the really obvious ones like "bush won get over it". Too often I see dramatic posters exclaim "freeper! freeper!" just cause the post is not in line with their own point of view. Course, there are also many many legitimate "freeper! freeper!" claims, but they are usually incredibly obvious (such as realllllly poor spelling and grammar LOL).

So which type are you referring to, the obvious ones or the 'just don't agree with my point of view so I'm gonna call them freepers' ones?

29. I'm more of a lurker than a poster, and even I've noticed some weird posts
as of late. It seems that if you mention Chavez or Castro, they emerge from the woodwork. I generally ignore them though. They're not worth the energy.
