John Kennedy, assassinated by bullet. Robert Kennedy, who would have won, assassinated by bullet. Gore, politically assassinated by the Supreme Court. Kerry, politically assassinated by Diebold.

20. I'm not surprised that somebody noticed that statement. It struck me

when I read it here as very sad and made me wonder what might this country have been.

It also made me think that something very wrong has been going on for a long, long time. All those who were assassinated were Democrats. Why is this, and where is the outrage and a demand to take a real deep look at what this means? I had never thought of it until I read Straight Shooter's comment.

We are not free at all. What an illusion America has been. I know also that attempts were made on the lives of Reagan and Ford ~ and I think there are some serious questions to be asked about the Reagan assassination attempt. One common theme since the JFK murder, is that if you look deep enough you seem to find some of the same characters around many of these tragedies.
