Instead of walking out of the State of the Union Address,
Why don't the Democrats just skip it. They should all not show up. Why waste an hour or so listening to Bush's lies and mangling of English? Let the news cameras show a half empty hall. Gov Kaine can explain the reasons in the response.

1. Osama said he would "strike America's heart." Maybe meant The SOTU?
Might be a good idea if the Democrats weren't there.

5. ObL doesn't have to actually do a damm thing any more.
The damage is done.

We are our own worst enemies now.
No terrorist could do a better job than Bush has
at destroying America, and taking the world down
with it.

7. Exactly. Bin Laden has allowed Bush to get everyone to chase
their tails and waste our resources on a war that is never over. OBL doesn't have to do a damn thing.

3. No Good
If we did that, they'd just fill up our seats with THEIR people...and make * look good. They'd make it out like we were APPLAUDING *. The MSM would try to pass off their stoolies as our people, and how much of America would REALLY know that they weren't our people...but, rather, they were * stoolies?

no, I doubt it...
I think it just means that the dem with the floor would just keep talking.

But oh wait, the State of the Union is held in the Senate where the filibuster would be occurring?

Oh man, we must be dreaming. This couldn't possibly be the case. Could it?
I suppose they would have to move the SOTU elsewhere?

14. No, the SOTU is always in the House, with

the Speaker and the Veep seated behind the Prez. Except, of course, when Cheney has been in an undisclosed location.

9. I don't know, but that would be another good reason to filibuster.
I sure don't need to hear anymore lies.

10. the SOTU takes place in the House of Representatives
So I suppose the filibuster would just continue over in the Senate. I guess it would give the Senators a good excuse to skip
the SOTU however.

All in all, the filibuster is a great idea for so many great reasons.
