anybody watching FogFacts on CSPAN2?
Great so far... this guy is detailing the facts that we have not been told about Bush, 9/11 and the suspected hijackers...

Fog Facts: Searching for Truth in the Land of Spin
Larry Beinhart

In "Fog Facts" Larry Beinhart argues that America's perception of reality has been distorted. The author explains that while the country should be focusing on the 2000 election, President Bush's war record or the U.S. invasion of Iraq, the media or as he calls it the "Soft Machine" has the world's attention on the happenings of Hollywood. This event was hosted by Coliseum Books in New York City.

Larry Beinhart is the author of "Wag the Dog" and "The Librarian." His work has appeared in The Baltimore Sun, Newsday and the Miami Herald.

26. I will be checking his book out of the library for sure.
I have heard of his books--but have neglected him.
I actually got distracted here at home -too many people in the room chatting so I missed the last part.
I find him interesting at this point--enough to read him.--esp. his comments about our system of 'objective' journalism at its drawbacks/limitations.

still $15, I'll have to wait till it goes down a bit. I think I'll add "The Librarian" too, he said it's fiction about a presidential election that didn't go right (based on 2000).

21. But he's wrong about the recount consortium
We would have had to have had an overturn of the prevailing ruling to get the overvotes counted ... and it wasn't true that all possible recounts showed Gore won.
