BYU professor's group accuses U.S. officials of lying about 9/11

Last fall, Brigham Young University physics professor Steven E. Jones made headlines when he charged that the World Trade Center collapsed because of "pre-positioned explosives." Now, along with a group that calls itself "Scholars for 9/11 Truth," he's upping the ante.
"We believe that senior government officials have covered up crucial facts about what really happened on 9/11," the group says in a statement released Friday announcing its formation. "We believe these events may have been orchestrated by the administration in order to manipulate the American people into supporting policies at home and abroad."
Headed by Jones and Jim Fetzer, University of Minnesota Duluth distinguished McKnight professor of philosophy, the group is made up of 50 academicians and others.
They include Robert M. Bowman, former director of the U.S. "Star Wars" space defense program, and Morgan Reynolds, former chief economist for the Department of Labor in President George W. Bush's first term. Most of the members are less well-known.

1. Why Indeed Did the WTC Buildings Collapse?

ABSTRACT

In writing this paper, I call for a serious investigation of the hypothesis that WTC 7 and the Twin Towers were brought down, not just by impact damage and fires, but through the use of pre-positioned cutter-charges. I consider the official FEMA, NIST, and 9-11 Commission reports that fires plus impact damage alone caused complete collapses of all three buildings. And I present evidence for the controlled-demolition hypothesis, which is suggested by the available data, testable and falsifiable, and yet has not been analyzed in any of the reports funded by the US government.

We start with the fact that large quantities of molten metal were observed in basement areas under rubble piles of all three buildings: the Twin Towers and WTC7. A video clip provides eye-witness evidence regarding this metal at ground zero:

. The photograph below by Frank Silecchia shows a chunk of the hot metal being removed from the North Tower rubble about eight weeks after 9-11. Notice the color of the lower portion of the extracted metal -- this tells us much about the temperature of the metal and provides important clues regarding its composition, as we shall see.

I for one salute these academics for putting EVERYTHING on the line in getting these very important questions OUT THERE (just as i salute DU for having the courage to provide a forum dedicated to this issue) in the public domain.

As a follower of this story from Zero Hour I am impressed with the salient points raised by these scholars regarding this vital issue of our time.

Since it's a PDF (23 pages) I can't copy a sample for you, but will tell you that he couches his entire discussion in the language of the philosophy of science & approaches the question of what happened on 9-11 in a very comprehensive way. As an entree, he dissects the Kennedy assassination in the clearest, most concise terms I've seen anywhere before proceeding to do the same for 9-11.

Please--check it out. Whether you're MIHOP, LIHOP or a Coincidence theorist, I guarantee you won't ever see things quite the same after reading this.

5. This kind of news makes me a strong believer the bush

crime family wants to spy on those who are closing in of the truth behind 911. 911 WAS AN INSIDE JOB..
and not the end result of 19 arabs who conveniently hijacked 2 jets and crashed them into the World Trade Center for World Trade 7 is a nasty loose end. WT7 was not struck by a jet and had 2 floors of fire.
