So Now The "WMD Are In Syria" Is Back On The Table? |
|
Edited on Sun Jan-29-06 01:55 PM by Southpawkicker
Saw some former Iraqi General on CNN who has conveniently written a book about the WMD being "transferred to Syria" prior to the war.
Now he didn't tell anyone this (he says but I bet Karl Rove encouraged it) and instead wrote a book describing this.
Of course he has "no idea" where those WMD are now
My thoughts-this will be the excuse to raid someplace in Syria and show up with about half the amount of WMD that the General claims (planted by US of course) and use that to beef up support for the NSA spying which the corporate media claims */Rove have already ginned up some support for.
(eyes roll) is this lying ever going to stop?

4. About that many months ago I wrote my R-Congressman about WMD |
|
and he replied with much sarcasm
That "they are in Syria"
That we "know Saddam existed, but we can't find him, since we can't find him are we now going to say he didn't exist?"
I am so fucking sick of this BS
We know that there were no WMD's, that has been gone over and over and over with a fine tooth comb.
This is total bullshit.

7. The guy saying this is... |

trying to sell a book. That kind of destroys his credibility, IMO.

9. There's been a lot of saber rattling about Syria long before this. |
|
Before we got AAR in my area, I used to listen to the religious stations, just to figure out how political they are being these days. Some guest on one of the shows, a minister no less, said that Syria should be invaded because that's where Al Queda were based that were crossing into Iraq.
Neither talk about Iran, nor Syria surprises me because the neo-cons are busting to go in there to gain control of the Middle East. The trouble is that they don't seem to realize that our real enemies are the Saudis. They are trying to make America into one of their provinces. IMHO.
