4. I liked this bubble
Bush doesn't -think- about anything.
He just -believes- things. He's never
conflicted by reality.

That about says it.

5. Yep.
I like the way he gets around that "So much more than we asked for" by admitting it is True.

6. Did you catch this Bushism on that page?
"I remind people, the elections...um...democracy...uh, is...can open up the world's eyes to reality, by listening to people."
-- George W. Bush, on Palestinian vote

13. Do The Straw Poll too!! Keep those numbers up!
Are we having a Constitutional Crisis yet?

How concerned are you about this crisis?

Very. Robust Executive. Imperial Presidency. Tyranny. Whatever it is, Gore nailed it. Arming the c-i-c with wartime powers for a "war" that may last 50 years terrifies me. If a job's worth doing, it's worth doing legally.

Somewhat. At this point there's nothing wrong with either Congress or the White House that a good election can't address. Then again, how likely is that? Okay, I'm sweating a bit.

Not. This is just the latest version of the Unified Hate-Bush Theory. Lincoln, Roosevelt, and Truman would understand. It's a wartime-president thing.

Familiarity with Gore speech

Read/heard it Read/heard about it Hadn't heard of it before
