Big Question.............Someone clarify for me .Please, |
|
It's nearly the end of January. If I recall correctly, doesn't Bushes' recess appointment of Bolton to the UN end on Jan. 31st.???? What happens after that? What is the next step? I know "poor pResident shrub" has his plate full, :sarcasm: but if a miracle happens, and we get a filibuster, or the repubs pull a "nukuler" option on us.........how will this affect a permanent replacement of Bolton?? Do we have any more recesses coming up in the near future?

1. It doesn't end until the first meeting of the 110th Congress. |
|
Which is early January 2007.

Thanks for the response. Boy did I have that one wrong. Damn, the harm he can cause in another full year is terrifying! Wish I had been right on this one!!!

If things were to play out where the nuclear option was used it won't affect appointments like Bolton. It would only affect filibusters of judicial nominees.

The Kenny Boy Enron trial should be starting soon. And the "Patriot Act" will be up for another vote.
