And if you guys remember, after the debate, Mrs. Edwards took Cheney aside and "casually" reminded him of when he met John. It was great.

The one element that comes out of these lying statements is the arrogance and the marginalization of people that think are beneath them.

Cheney said he is the presiding authority in the senate as VP and he had never seen John Edwards before.

The truth though is that John Edwards had PRESIDED over the senate (as a fill in for the absent Dick Cheney) more times than Cheney had even been to a senate session at that time.

That crazy left wing media machine though bought the line from unka dick and kept repeating the "edwards doesn't show up to do his job" lie without mentioning that dickie boy's reasoning only highlighted his own much worse absenteeism.
