Why do I get the sense that the powers that be are going to throw * under
Edited on Sun Jan-29-06 05:31 PM by Botany
..... the bus?

Fox News had a really blunt person on that said bush 52% poll #s of Americans
who think he is a liar is serious.

Hagel and other repugs are calling him to release Abramoff pix and documents.

Repugs are calling on him to release the White House's Katrina documents

Dems, repugs, and many papers are calling the NSA spying illegal which is
what is was and still is.

And more and more repugs are saying that it is time to get out of Iraq.

and by throwing bush under the bus they can keep their power.

I have this as a mental picture or am I DU-lusional?

5. Would rather see Rover sucked into the jet intake so.....
there was nothing left but tiny pieces left to blow in the wind and disappear into a sad footnote in history.

4. They are getting ready for November their message will be BLAME BUSH.
It is not our fault. I call BS. Blame the NeoConvicts and their asinine policies. Blame the "Free Trade" for the richest 1/2 1% at our expenses. Throw all the Right Wing Nuts out come November. The revolution starts NOW with aLIEto.

6. Nah, they're just trying to distance themselves...
... from Bush until the 2006 election is over. Then they'll go back to cheering him on until the `pug front runners are ready to run for 2008, and they'll start talking about building on the wonderful economy George Bush has created, thus ensuring continued corporate contributions for their campaigns.

It's all about image manipulation and counting on the public having short memories.

9. Get a good night's sleep, then you'll come back to reality.
The Pugs aren't going to throw Bush anywhere yet. They still think they can win the 2006 elections riding the fear and paranoia wagon. It's worked for them very well the past two elections. They have every expectation that it will work again. And justifiably so. The sheeple are still sheeple.

If they lose big in the 2006 elections, then and only then, will you see any of them going against Bush.

12. i have tried reality .... and it sucks.
The only way the repugs win in 06 is massive electoral fraud.

Frist has introduced an anti gay marriage bill into congress ....
watch the funny results being explained away by a huge "values
vote."

10. quite reasonable
the old world ordure isn't made for west texas sons of old east coast transnational money, it's made for old east coast transnational money. With conservatives across the country finding common cause in each other's agendas, and getting those agendas implemented up and down the political scale, there's not need for a moronic figurehead who needs his public expressions prechewed and turned into Cliff's Notes. All hail the capitalist fascists, and their hangers on, the organs of social orthodoxy across the globe. It's for your own good, now do your duty to earn money for the rich, uhh, I mean to society.

11. Bush has always been a throw-away.
I agree with another poster, it won't happen until (if) they lose the 2006 elections.

I find it amusing that the arrogant little SOB doesn't understand that he's expendable.

14. I thought I sensed less *love* for him tonight on CNN
Of course I couldn't tell if my perception was real or not because everytime I think "OK this is it he's even pissed off the media" I have been sorely disappointed later!
