Who thought back in 2001 you were signing up for Purgatory/ Dem Wasteland?

When DU was "founded" with that banner in protest of Chimp Selection back in 2001, that you would be spending the equivalent of a Masters and Doctorate Program on a flegeling website which started out with just few and grew to what DU is today?

And..did you think there would be a point when you would "opt out" because "Things would change" and Dems would regain power either with a "finding" that GORE REALLY WON... or in 2004 that a New Candidate would SWEEP the electorate...and ALL would be FINE...the way it was before...under Clinton.

Who EVER thought...they would be here on DU all these years FIGHTING to TAKE BACK AMERICA? Who thought it would LAST THIS LONG? I didn't...

We are in a war, things are gaining momentum, those of us here who have matriculated at DU University will either be seeing great reward or utter failure soon I think.

until 12-30-03, though I had read a few threads before that date. I did not anticipate being active on DU for more than a few months when I signed on. Twenty-five months later, I'm still posting here.
