Why should they be listened to NOW when they trot out their same old tired "Dog and Pony Show" which says: "Hang together or you hang alone," "Dems don't have a strategy so lets hire more "consultants" to tell us what to think;" "Clinton's policies are still important, Bush implemented some of them but ignored the rest...let's get it correct next time," "Bush is misguided and the Left Wing of the Democrats are idiots and reactionaries so lets ignore them while we go back to the "Principles of Globilization;" and "We REALLY,REALLY THINK...that THIS TIME we can WIN 2008!"

Take your pick. The DLC has always been into "TOP DOWN POLITICS FROM A POPULAR KING" (Chimp is an UNPOPULAR KING/CLINTON WAS POPULAR KING)...while IGNORING THE "PEASANTS" (i.e. the MIDDLE CLASS) underneath who are the "Grassroots and Wings" beneath a Vibrant Party's Calling to Arms?

5. Aw, c'mon. They brought us the glorious "not as bad" party.

And, "triangulation" aka - watered down Republicanism

And, the have saved us from terrible "too liberal" candidates

And, saved us from the dreaded "nuclear option" by the magnificent "compromise" that gave us distinguished judges on the Appeals Courts and now the Supreme Court

6. lol's...I hear ya...cynical as you sound...one does have to wonder these

days..WHAT WAS IT ALL ABOUT the "GREAT DLC" Awakening..if it lost us our Country under BUSH II. :shrug: I wonder if the DLC'ers sit up every night thinking about this with nightmares when they DO NOD OFF...with their consciences in flames.

I wonder if those "Political Ops" even have consciences...:-( As long as the BIG Bucks from the Corporate Donations Roll in ...or in tough times like lately..the coins from our hard earned dollars of the "masses" then what the HELL do they care? They're kids are safe and they can take vacations on the lobbyists tax check off's and ALL ARE HAPPY ...HAPPY...HAPPY! Maybe there's even a second home near the beach or inhe Mountains for ski purposes thrown in. :shrug:
