George says Bill is like his new Brother in his Family...yuck
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President George W. Bush says Bill Clinton has become so close to his father that the Democratic former president is like a member of the family.

Former President George Bush has worked with Clinton to raise money for victims of the Asian tsunami and the hurricane disaster along the U.S. Gulf Coast.

Asked about his father and Clinton, Bush quipped, "Yes, he and my new brother."

"That's a good relationship. It's a fun relationship to watch," Bush said in an interview with CBS News broadcast on Sunday.
While attending Pope John Paul's funeral, Bush said, "It was fun to see the interplay between dad and Clinton. One of these days, I'll be a member of the ex-president's club. ... I'll be looking for something to do.">>snip

"Bush, Clinton, Bush, Clinton," he said, referring to how Bill Clinton had followed his father, and Hillary Clinton could follow him.

2. graceless as always.
I notice he doesn't exercise the restraint that Clinton does in his public pronouncements about the succession.

3. Bill better be careful
Bush has been trying to win Daddy's approval his whole life, and now he's being beaten out again. Bush is not nice to those he's jealous of.

make it any easier to understand than that statement.

Sorry Clintons, You suck.

21. I bet it really irked him!
Poppy probably said that some time ago (maybe when Georgie wasn't doing much except carousing) and the fact that Bush Jr. remembered it so clearly suggests he was more than a bit jealous!

“Can you imagine how much it hurt,” Bush joked, “to know that Dad’s idea of the perfect son was . . . Al Gore?”

"One of these days, I'll be a member of the ex-president's club. ... I'll be looking for something to do."

Hate to tell you, but you might have noticed that the current members of the Ex-Presidents Club don't spend their time at the Hellhole Ranch, clearing brush.

12. this was on Face the Nation
and Bob Schieffer shamelessly laid down and rolled over, lobbing one softball question after the other. No matter what stupid answer * gave, Bob just said "Uh-huh".

The worst was at the end, when they were walking outside. That's when he made the comments about Clinton, and that's when he took the opportunity to polish his "aw, shucks, good ol' boy" image. He said being president is a privilege but it has its limitations--like--get this--he can't just go shopping at Walmart!! As IF!!

25. Hillary is hanging out with Newt.
The point here is that politics is being controlled by assholes who don't really care about the rank and file. They control the purse strings. Tax revolt across America and see if they say 'can you hear me now'.

27. The freepers need to see that ~
Someone should post it over there ~ all their heads will explode at the same time and that might make the whole site blow. They lived and breathed to hate Clinton, and to idolize Bush! This will be the end of them ~

Aside from the thrill of knowing that freepers will go insane when they find out that Bush has all this brotherly love for the man they were taught to hate, I think it stinks that Clinton hangs out with this family.

It shows that we've all been duped, the freepers and us, I'm sad to say. While we fight with them over Clinton and they fight with us over Bush, they are all having a ball together, like one big happy family ~ :grr:

If this isn't a sign that both parties serve the same corporate master, I don't know what is.
