Jeb is polling!
Further evidence of Jeb's intentions (even though he denies them) to solidify the Bush dynasty in Washington. He's polling.

A pollster's message was in the Pab Sungenis Project request line's inbox (at 800-276-0-PAB) this evening. The caller ID information (which you cannot blcok on an 800 number) came up as "605-772-4025 HEARTSTONE COMM."

For those who are curious, and want to hear the audio itself, it's available at http://www.lowbudgetradio.com/pushpoll.mp3

The first two questions seem innocuous:

"1. Do you favor President George Bush's actions in Iraq?"
"2. Do you believe the United States should negotiate the release of hostages in Iraq?"

As does the fourth:

"4. Do you feel the economic state of the country is better this year compared to last?"

Then we start to see the real intent emerge:

"3. Do you believe that air marshalls were justified in shooting of Mr. Alcazar in Miami?"
"5. Would you consider Florida Governor Jeb Bush a strong presidential candidate for 2008 elections?"

Jeb's going to run. He's feeling out the waters right now. And he's worried that the Miami air marshals' murder will hurt him.

4. Wow
Way to jump down someone's throat for reporting something that might be of interest to others.

8. Know thine enemy
Just one example of how knowing Jeb might make a run in '08 benefits us: it alerts DUers to do opposition research. See http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=358&topic_id=2860 for an example of same on McCain.

But irrespective of perceived benefits or harm, I simply found your ugly response to the OP totally out of line.

26. Chill a bit...
I'm happy to know this kind of info... I detest "family legacy" politics..it would behoove democrats to remember this as well when they start flogging relatives of politicians. I will not vote a political legacy candidate...and no one give me bullshit about how they shouldn't be discriminated against because of their family ties...bullshit! Let someone else get a turn.

7. What has Jeb done for you lately? Seriously?
You're registered on DU, I will check, I hope you will respond. Do you think he's been great? What IS it?

10. Please do check
I live in FL. I'm no fan of Jeb or any of the Bushes as you'll see from my posts.

Now I'd like to know why you jumped all over the OP the way you did. You haven't bought into the idea that in "war", suppressing certain kinds of free speech is okay, have you?

13. My problem with the whole idea is, absorb this, "Jeb is polling".
I find that ludicrous, hurtful, disgusting, and I can't even fathom that I will have to face another Bush in my future.

14. I'm completely with you on hating the idea of another Bush** in our future
But that's no reason to be rude to someone who's done nothing but share information. Curse at Jeb, not the OP.

16. I live in TX and have had to deal with the blivet for many years,
prior to 2000, so don't you try to tell me what I should or shouldn't do, how I should feel, or anything else, Journeyman. It's joyeous to meet someone so full of themself, as I don't doubt you're alone.

19. Hey, you've been the schmuck to the OP, not I . . .
and the fact you live in Texas doesn't excuse your rudeness this evening. I gave you the benefit of the doubt, chalked it up to a touch of dipso, but I gather from your response there's no hope you'll be better sober in the morning. More's the pity.

5. I'm not encouraging it.
It's a warning, and a sign of what Jeb thinks might be one of his Achilles' Heels. It's also a sign he wants to ride on his brother's coattails, as if there would be any.

22. Thanks for posting this...Here's a thought...
I wouldn't be surprised if W *really* messes up at the end of his presidency to prevent his brother from becoming president....just think there's a lot of competition there.

The whole family needs to get a life!

9. Not to worry
Read a list of who the repubs want to run he was way down the list. However it might not be so bad I mean America really loves the idea of a monarchy (not) and there would be issues with his family that are ah indelicate - crackhead daughter, wife is Mexican (that wouldn't ride to well with the current immigration climate of the far right) fro what I've read his son Jeb Jr is being groomed for the future however.

12. Is that the stalker or the one who has sex in public?
By the way, anyone who has the clipping or files on those boys, put them in a safe place. You know how the Bushes like to clean up.

21. Boy, I'd like to see the stats on this poll
Thanks for posting this. Clearly the man and his family are looking for the Bush dysfunctional dynasty to continue at some point - despite what Jeb denies. My bet he holds out until 2012.

If Bush* 43 contines to have a bad term, and the GOP loses seats in Congress, I kinda think 'they' will allow a Dem to win in 2008, just so 'they' can have someone/another party to blame for each and every disaster this country will face.
