Dreaming... Dems don't walk out on SOTU, they laugh hysterically
I understand that W is actually going to trot out new suggestions for energy saving technologies on the very day Ken Lay's trial opens. If there were ever an "Emperor has no clothes" moment suited for national and international TV, this would be it. Hey, a fella can dream, can't he?

1. I think laughter is a good idea
Ridicule.

He's supposed to talk about health care -- that will certainly be an opportunity for some morbid chuckles. At least from me.

But seriously, I'm a big advocate of ridiculing them right out of office. It is the appropriate response to their fearmongering.

2. I am dreading the annoying State of the Union
Particularly since i believe it will be largely dedicated to saying "Democrats are a bunch of weaklings, while we REpublicans want to protect America."

4. Or the best of both worlds...
...the Democrats walk out AND the lapdog media suddenly groows a pair and plays a canned laugh track after each of Bush's pearls of wisdom--so long as we're dreaming.

5. My dream is reminiscent of the scene from "Animal House"
during the hearing of the Greek council. Sure, it's only in my dreams, but wouldn't it be great to hear all the Dems "coughing" out BULLSHIT and EAT-ME during Dubya's little sound-bite fest!

7. I Like the Hillary Clinton Option
She dramatically rolled her eyes during one of Bush's early SOTU speeches.

God, did that piss off right wingers! It would be so great if all the Dems decided to do it in unison.
