6. Shortly After the Invasion of Iraq,

there was a huge wave of IEDs and truck bombs using plastic explosives. I was wondering whether this material could be made in a basement, or whether it suggested a source of ordnance from a foreign government.

I posted this question on DU under a heading like "What's Involved in the Making of Plastic Explosives?" My god, did I get blasted for that. Took about thirty seconds. I had to go back and change the wording.

So a LOT of people here are very concerned about how our posts might appear to spying eyes. In general, I'm not one of them, but that post raised a certain flag.
