Rep. Roy Blount (Republican) Has No Clue or He Is Spreading Misinformation

Cspan just re-ran a college republican leadership meeting held at some Washington DC college, I did not catch which one. I did hear Blount, a speaker at the meeting, say this,” the private sector would have done better than the government on implementing the Medicare Pharmacy program.” Doesn’t he know that the Medicare Pharmacy program was implemented by the private sector was responsible for implementing that program.

In case you don’t know; the Medicare Pharmacy Program is a collection of private sector insurance plans. I speak from personal knowledge of this plan. I was actively involved in implementing one of the Medicare pharmacy plans. The private sector WAS heavily involved of seeing that the plan worked.

Blount evidently is without a clue, or he is dissembling in the grand old party tradition.

1. A lot of both...
He's an idiot AND he's spouting misinformation.

2. Since his son gutted Medicaid in MO,
literally taking away the air poor folks needed to breathe, I could see where his dad (who married a lobbyist)would be all for putting every government health program in the hands of business and not know anything about how it was handled-because, like his son, I wonder if he really cares.

3. It is dis-reality. In the USSR it was propaganda. But because of the
famous quote about changing our reality - Blount practiced dis-reality. Even though it's already a project of the private sectors, dumbed down citizens don't know that. He's trying to sell the idea of privatization for everything and for all.

Our vote was privatized and we were dumbed down - we thought our leaders were looking out for us and we assumed that voting hardware and software and technicians had received a seal of approval from someone who was looking out for us.

REVERT TO PAPER. REVERSE DUMBING DOWN AND DIS-REALITY. Or YOUR ARE GOING TO TAKE MORE whether or not you are waving your arms and yelling out of a window or not.

Presently, only seniors and their caretakers are waving their arms and yelling out the window about the health plans given to us by Republicans and supported by some Democrats - a plan that brings sickness and despair where there was less because of its planned for greed and control by the Republicans and some Democrats.
