The secret psyche of Republicans.... |
|
This is a psychological profile, not officially from a psychologist, but from a longtime spectator of the Republican species. Republicans operate in a herd, with a herd mentality, much like their symbol, the elephant. They are self-conscious about that trait within themselves. They constantly struggle to convince others that they are really "independent" in their thoughts an decisions. On occasion, they exhibit a degree of independence on one issue or another simply to convince themselves that they are not slaves to their Party or their ideology.
Most times this "independent" behavior is exhibited after an obvious partisan issue, such as a vote on a Suprem Court Justice. They feel guilt. And they struggle to break away from their masters. From my studies of this species, we can expect them to show their "independence" whenever the NSA spying issue comes up. They will have something to prove - to themselves.

...Republicans feel threatened by things that can't really hurt them like gay marriage and the like.
Also, a lot of them sure do seem to have sexual problems/obsessions/etc. :hide:

2. When I think of a republican |
|
it reminds me of the sci-fi movies where the earth's inhabitants live underground while surface is a toxic wasteland.
