What's the true story on Dean, money and ticked off establishment dems....
The sludge report is gossiping that the establishment dems are upset with Dean and his DNC spending. Anyone know what the real story on this is?

2. I haven't heard anything real on this
Drudge is always saying stuff and never states any real sources, so I think this is a lie

3. Dean is spending the money in all 50 states getting organized
and prepared for the 2006 elections (and hopefully keeping organized for the 2008 elections). He's not just sitting on the money like the Dem Establishment wants him to do to look good in the press. My opinion? If they don't like the amount of Cash on Hand they ought to put some more in the bank!

5. They want him to toe the DC line of bigger money. Meanwhile back at DU
all the good little Democrats are advocating withholding money until the DC Dems shape up. Go figure.

6. I like that idea.....
wouldn't it be great if the DNC under Dean actually had the clout to do such a thing? What I see in all of this is that what Dean has been doing the last two years will go unrecognized by many of the establishment Dems - or that it will be purposely ignored by them - and he will not receive the credit he deserves.

And actually, whatever happened to that "great" American belief that it takes spending money to make money?

7. This looks like wingnut discord-sowing to me.
Too often it seems as if the DLC and GOP speak with one voice. This might be one of those times.

I don't worry about anything the GOP (or DLC) tells me I ought to be worried about. I trust the Doctor.

10. The DLC want to be the fount from whom all blessings flow.
Dean leaves money on the state level rather than collecting it all and then handing it out. DLC is pissed.

4. Ding! Ding! Ding! We have a winner folks!
This is exactly what is happening. It's the same power struggle that has been going on since the day Dean took over.
