Rice Admits U.S. Underestimated Hamas Strength

LONDON, Jan. 29 — Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice acknowledged Sunday that the United States had failed to understand the depth of hostility among Palestinians toward their longtime leaders.

3. It's interesting how far her star seems to have fallen
I mean for a while she was talked about as a legitmate heir; probably there are still plenty who want to put her up. But she certainly doesn't seem to be carving out much of a niche for herself. I guess it's partly because in this administration, President Bush is the only one who matters.

8. Yes i do.
And i don't know what you mean by the 30%; I suspect it's a reference to the core of the Republican party being bigoted to the core. I don't buy that.
