This is about the leftleaning blogs and their campaigns against Kerry

Americablog, mydd, and Liberal Oasis are being dishonest and parroting RW talking points against Kerry.

Why did they suddenly decide accurate information is not one of their goals in their arguments against Kerry's decision to filibuster?

How many times does one pull out Scotty McLellan's lies about skiing and windsurfing to attack Kerry? I thought these blogs wanted to FIGHT the RW spin machine, not parrot it.

Kerry did not WANT to lead the filibuster. He had longtime plans to be in Davos on Senate business for the Finance Committee, alog with about ten other senators. He was then scheduled for a major speech in Ireland. He cancelled ALL OF IT after NO ONE ELSE WOULD STAND WITH KENNEDY.

The only reason he stuck his neck out last Thursday was because NO ONE ELSE WOULD STAND WITH KENNEDY TO DO IT.

It should have been a Judiciary Committee member leading this fight. I doubt any of the blogs would be attacking that senator today IF he/she had chosen to stand with Kennedy.

They didn't. Kerry did.

He will suffer the slings and arrows from 99% of the media and many of the leftleaning blogs are rushing to add their arrows, too. He has everything to lose and nothing to gain. but standing up to do the right thing.

Just like he did in BCCI.

And just like in BCCI, the media paints him as the exact opposite of what he is - except this time there is no media at all willing to report the truth with accuracy - not even bloggers.
