Frist Next:Says He Got `No Nods, No Winks' Before HCA Stock Sale
Can we add Frist's name of those being indicted along with Libby, Delay, Ney?

Jan. 29 (Bloomberg) -- U.S. Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist said he got ``no tips, no nods, no winks, ever'' before selling his stock in HCA Inc. in 2005, one month before a company earnings report sent share prices tumbling.

Frist, who held his shares in a Senate-approved trust, said today on NBC's ``Meet the Press'' that he had no inside information about the company, a hospital chain founded by his father and brother. The Securities and Exchange Commission and Justice Department both are looking into the 2005 sale.

``I acted properly every step along the way,'' the Tennessee Republican said, adding that ``of course I will'' abide by the decisions of federal investigators.

5. Sorry Bill, but either you got a tip or you're Shamu the Great...
and I don't see a silk turban or curley shoes, so don't go denying the time line. One look at the timing and you're toast.

6. he got direct face time with the numbers
who needs a nod nod? He is not stupid and could read the balance sheet, the real P&L and saw the need to get out before it tanked. I assume there won't be a shoot out when they come to put him in jail "of course I will'' abide by the decisions of federal investigators." what a sack of fetid human waste.
