It seems that most politicians today don't value the Constitution at all |
|
Look at Ashcroft - every proposal he has involves breaching part of the Constitution. Joe Lieberman has a long history of waging a vendetta against the entertainment industry and free speech. Countless other RWers are constantly trying to shove their version of Christianity down everyone elses throat, and claim to be persecuted whenever someone tries to stop them. And as for Bush...no explanation needed.
These people took an oath to defend the Constitution, not to wipe their asses with it for the sake of "protecting America" or "upholding moral values."

2. Every American gets the blame for allowing these bullies to exist for 50 y |
|
years. It didn't start with bu$hitler. It began with McCarthy. Remember how he destroyed 1000s of lives? Nixon using the IRS to harass his opponents and breaking law after law? Reagan's death squads in El Salvador, trading with terrorists and supplying Saddam with his weapons? bu$h 1 lying about Iraq and also as much guilt as Reagan in his crimes?
Americans, for tolerating this, are nothing but cowards. You can't push a button and get rid of corrupt, lying, crime-infested, warmongering murdering Republicans. You've got to fight them with everything you've got and not even associate with them in any form.

3. Their heaven is a Corporatist Democracy |

not a Constitutional one. The underlying value is profit, not liberty.
Once people realize that, it all becomes very clear.
