warning : freeper rant about ABC reporter on Yahoo board
Too bad lib journalist is still alive!!

Msg: 1 of 1

For those people seeking fairness in the world, it will be hard not to feel disappointed that a member of the US, leftarded media isn't pushing up the daisies right now for what has been the institutionalized, matter-of-policy skewing of the reports coming out of Iraq. Bob Woodruffian is a member of the libtarded media which routinely sympathizes with Islamist enemies, spreads their propaganda in their videotapes, emboldens them, and, infamously, refuses to put out ANY positive stories about the US troops doing the rebuilding and security missions in Iraq. Woodruffian, as a libtarded journalist, is automatically guilty of this brand since many well-known studies have shown the number of negative to positive news stories regarding Iraq to be in the ratio of several times as many negative story for every, single, rare, positive one. In that respect, Woodruffian just lucked out in the most criminal chance of fortune as he's now being treated by the US military's doctors, the same US military his pro-jihadist "reporting" routinely puts in danger. As such, he should've been left to his "freedom fighting" "militants" in the field.

1. Sweet Irony...Wasn't He Supposed To Cover The "Good News"
Had Mr. Woodruff survived that patrol, he would have filed a report that showed the vaunted Iraqi security forces in charge of the streets...making it appear some "progress" was being made. Instead, reality bites.

Unfortunately our corporate media not only is so coward by this regime but has also lost so much respect from media around the world, what comes off our airwaves today is viewed in the filter of bias and self interest.

2. This is disgusting.
I've been feeling awful about Woodruff ever since I heard the news yesterday morning. My heart goes out to him, his camerman and their families. I hope they both make a full recovery and Bob can return to ABC as soon as possible.

17. Bravo!
Too few of "us" understand that concept!

Same with the SOTU... it's one thing to read a transcript, it's quite another to see his lies as they are committed!

5. I think the name is a clue:
"moderatelibWHOREspectsbush"

Perhaps this wingnut (and their pals) should visit Iraq (preferably in uniform), and check it out for themselves.

22. Whore" stood out to me too...
too bad "moderate lib" couldn't see that one coming.

Speaking of which, what IS a "moderate lib" anyway? Either one is moderate or one is liberal; is it possible to be both (and this guy sounds like neither)?

7. Send that to all the networks NOW
Maybe it will shake them out of their rah rah reporting (though from what I saw last night, some of the network people are already pretty much in shock.)

8. I'm sad to read this kind of stuff.
There are lots of political opponents I would like to see get jailed, or at minum thrown out of office, but I have NEVER "wisshed they would be pushing up daisys!"

I guess this must be what they preach in "their" churches, same as Pat Robertson always seems to want his opponents dead. I'm a Catholic, and they sure don't teach that in MY church.

I detest Limpballs in every way I can think of, and I DO want him arrested for Dr. Shopping and Using, but I don't wish even HIM to die!

besides it really shows the distorted worldview of those psychopaths. As a Republican you could have made propaganda out of it, painting the guy as a hero (in a way he is).

this is even worse than the "Murtha syndrome" since what I know of the guy over there was only doing his MSM job. And at least had the guts to do it.

Showing this piece of garbage alienates decent people, maybe with Republican sympathies from freepers by showing their true face

10. Being a reporter in Iraq has turned out to be
a very dangerous job. Since they are taking so much time with this reporter, they should take the time to expose the names of every single reporter killed in Iraq. There is the story. Why are all these guys taking hits? A good storyline if I ever heard one.l..

11. dear "moderatelibWHOREspectsbush":
a brief summary of news stories about news stories about the Iraqi occupation will reveal many negative stories for every positive one. True enough, but then a brief review of stories about Hurricane Katrina will result in the same 'imbalance' and about political freedom in Pakistan, and about the Rwandan genocide, and about the SE Asian Tsunami, and about the leadership of Enron, and about your average serial killer. all will be imbalanced towards negative stories. you know why? CAUSE THEY ARE ALL BAD THINGS. A balanced media writes more negative things about bad things than good things.

I'd already posted on another board that I was expecting one of the idiots there (the other board) would use the "he threw himself onto the IED to make * look bad" excuse. Not at all surprised to see some of them with this attitude.

It is loaded with freepers and trolls and mostly with trolls.

It is a place that you need to take a shower after you visit

Almost as bad as Freeperland itself

25. I guess it doesn't matter to this AH that Bob's injuries included
severe injuries to the face chest head and BRAIN! I just heard a Dr. reporting from Germany about Bob's injuries and his condition. This was on Olberman's show.

This is the first time I heard about the brain injuries, and I'm very concerned. Many other injuries can be fixed, healed, or patched, but I'm not sure about brain injuries.

I can't say that I was a strong follower of Woodruff, but I have to give these reporters who want to do their job so bad, they feel they have to go see for themselves admiration.

26. Ahh...the infamous "many well-known studies" line of crap
which Freepers attribute to some insanity-driven junk science concocted by their christo-fascist, spellcasting superstitions.

The rant personifies exactly their commitment to "fairness" - everyone they don't like is a "lib" who should be "pushing up daisies" for not reporting official state propaganda. Yawn. They never think of anything new because they never have an original thought.

27. Yahoo discuss boards are sewers
Total waste of bandwidth.

If I could actually engage in a discussion with this simpleton I'd remind him that "embedded" reporters are pretty much told what to report and are the source of all the "good" footage in Iraq. If they make waves, they don't get security and prime mission assignments.

Some people find it hard to realize that there aren't that many positive stories to report in Iraq. It's a long, deadly, stupid, meaningless war that's only getting worse. He'd better get used to it.

28. They know not
Period.

Seriously, some of this was going on over there at Freepland, but what amazes me the most is the argument that several of them are making that they wished every soldier killed or wounded got this much publicity.

:wtf:

Except that if the MSM reports on killed and injured soldiers they are "aiding and comforting."

Reality will never seep in. I mean, come on, this guy manages to work up outrage that there are more negative than positive stories coming out of a WAR ZONE!

Imagine that.

29. Nothing to do with that freep rant/did you know he was David Blooms friend
I didn't see this first hand, but was talking to a friend on the phone who said they saw it reported that Woodruff was a very good friend of David Bloom--when Woodruff was injured they couldn't get a hold of his (woodruff's) wife and called Bloom's widow (that's how close the two women are)

I found that odd and yeah I know I have my tin foil on tonight.

Lot of journalists killed and maimed in this Iraq invasion.
