Jim De Mint of S. Carolina is pounding salt in the wound
He is grinning and smirking about the poor comments of, I believe it was Reid, earlier this a.m., that criticized bush's SOTU speech, then goes on and on with all the weakness of the dem. party. If this is a sign of things to come we are in big trouble. What dem. will stand up for the party? Only a precious few.

1. I've rarely heard such partisan crap on the Senate floor.
It's inexcusable!

3. He is out-smirking Dubya, which is no small task.
DeMint is out of line here in tone. Way out of line.

4. Well, he's right. What a bunch of losers. They can't even hang together
when it counts. I appreciate those that stood strong for us, but the rest made the party look weak.

6. Republican sore fucking whining winners. Very bad winners who would
say or do anything to impose their will on others.

10. well, it IS a weak party
quite frankly.

We have no idea what we stand for, and we're a weak party system which means that we can't expell party members from the party for standing against our major policy initiatives and core values.

This is Darwin in action. Hopefully the punctuation in this equilibrium is that we replace those particular dems with real, progressive democrats and have a serious contender to the republicans.

Ideologically, those dems that screwed us today don't have any ideology except to serve themselves, and that's not representative government.
