All the DNC & GOP really do is spread money around. |

Now with our internets, we can do that ourselves - and fund who we think deserves to be funded.

It is my hope that political parties become obsolete in the near future. They seem to get in the way of true leadership, and provide a convenient excuse for voters to not follow issues and individual voting records of the politicians who represent them.
No parties would end the kneejerk partisan division and spur real debate.
As voters, we would all have more power as independents. Candidates would actually have to form their own platforms, forcing thoughtfulness, sincerity and true conviction out of them.
Just a thought that's been brewing for awhile now. We don't register by parties here, so I'll spare the "I'm leaving" drama. I'll still vote the same way, but nobody will take my vote for granted simply because of a party label.

1. That's right. It's time to cut out the middle man. |

But we do have to do the homework to make sure we don't short someone who can be a valuable asset.
