You Ever Ask Yourself This Question

Since I am so right, how come, people aren’t flocking to support my position and if you don’t have that support then what can you get done?

You wouldn't want anyone to start being all reflective and shit now, would you? Damn, maybe they'd even start thinking critically, or considering issues of cause and consequence.

2. It's frustrating. My friend's 18 yr old daughter just signed up for
the Army, and for the past 8 months I've been talking to the daughter til I was blue in the face, with stuff like "why would you want to go to a foreign country and kill the people who have done absolutely nothing to us"? Her answer was that they were killing our soldiers, which I answered "because we invaded THEIR country". Anyway, I gave up and a couple of weeks ago I saw her mother who said both of them were pissed at Bush. I said why and they said they had JUST seen "F-9/11" and that Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11. I didn't say it, but I wanted to say "where have the f__k have you people been". My best friend just yesterday said she watched Chuck Hagel on MTP and he was concerned and irate how Bush is using wiretapping. This is the same person who always says to me "you blame everything on Bush". I can't seem to get to anybody. It's like they think I'm making this shit up.

5. But you tried in every way you could.
We all hurt at these kids losses. There was never a reason for them.

6. most people get their "news" from television . . .
which, by definition, means they are ill-informed and misinformed about most things . . . to really understand what's happening in the nation and the world today, you MUST use the net . . . or subscribe to several dozen alternative publications, both domestic and foreign . . .
