No judgments here. I'm honestly curious who DU would like to see in Harry Reid's position. Reid or somebody else? Who else? Why?

Yes I meant DEMOCRATIC leader. But of course I'd prefer if the Democratic leader were the Majority Leader!

Durbin, Boxer, Feingold . . .
I've heard the most support for Durbin.

17. It would be nice to have a progressive Democrat for a change.
Instead of the pandering collaborators like Daschle and Reid.

20. I have a question. Is the position of minority leader
perhapse not a leadership spot?

The reason I ask is that, to me, the ideal person would be Teddy Kennedy! He's by far the strongest Dem in the Senate! Would that be considered a demotion for him?

24. Before Reid was picked, I started sending emails to all the Senators
asking them to make Kerry the minority leader.

In some ways, he already is.

I dunno. I still kinda like "Give em Hell" Harry.

He was pretty spiffy when he shut down the Senate, you must admit.
