Zogby poll I just took was frightening... |
|
First it was testing out whether * and Rs can be seen as guardians of our safety and do we/Dems/Rs/American people/Federal gov have post 9/11 mentality or live in a pre 9/11 world--sounds like polling for Rs. Do you feel safer under * and do you trust him. Then there was a series of questions about staying in Iraq or withdrawing troops soon. Then there was a section about Iran and Korea and what level of response America should have to nuclear weapons programs in those countries. Should we hit them with nukes if they hit us first. Should we go and practice a little of the * doctrine or let our allies do it. Or if we let the UN decide, should we commit forces. SOmeone is jonesing for a war with Iran in the worst way. The last part of the survey was about the economy and if you feel you are doing well.
Did anyone else get this one too?

1. Yep. Took it the other day. I didn't like the way some of the answers |
|
were slanted to fit the question. It was sort of like you didn't have a lot of choices. It was either yes bomb the shit out of them or no, don't do anything but lay there while they hit you with a nuclear weapon.
It was the strangest one I've ever done for them.

I didn't like some of the wording or the choices offered,,,, on the pre & post 9/11 stuff I gave the the 'neither' answer,,,,
they were using the Neo-Con frame of reference for the questions,,,,
whatever,,,,,,

and for the slanted questions about the pre/post 9/11 mentality, I had to go with "neither." Too many assumption in the question to provide anything but bogus results. Did I miss something? When did we agree on a ?post 9/111 mentality?"
You are right - I smelled a survey funded to supply justification for permanent Repub leadership and war all over the place.

6. Yes. And I wasn't happy with the slant of some of the questions, either. |
|
I slogged through it, nonetheless.

7. Here is something I would like to know, from Republicans |
|
If you feel like we are deep in this war on terror, and that terrorists might just materialize anywhere and attack us again, how can you honestly say that you feel safe under Bush?
Its just dishonest.
"Bush keeps us safe, thank God for him. But we could die any minute in a terror attack!"
