Zogby polls support for war against Iran
I'm taking the online Zogby poll. After questions about Bush's popularity, the war in Iraq, and who I support in Congressional races, it started asking about a potential war with Iran.

The poll asks if I would support military intervention against Iran to stop them from developing a nuclear arsenal. It goes on to ask if I would support military action against Iran by the US, Israel, a US-European coalition, or the UN.

It will be interesting to see if they release the results to the public. I also find it odd that they sent out the poll on the day of state of the union. One might think the answers will change depending on what the President says Tuesday night.

2. The North Korean question:
North Korea has developed and tested an atomic bomb. Would you strongly support, somewhat support, somewhat oppose, or strongly oppose U.S. military intervention to prevent North Korea's nuclear program from expanding?

3. It would be a better poll
if it asked who was going to go fight Iran? According to figures from the military, they are not quite equipped to pull off another war at the moment!

5. With peak oil, bird flu, terrorism, overpopulation, little room to grow
crops, and on and on and on, it takes very little to piece together the fact we're all going to be snuffed out like a proverbial candle soon enough.

Enjoy life while ya can. Unless you're God and can wiggle your nose and make changes that'll save us all without frying the planet.

6. I like this SOTU question:
"Which would you rather watch: the State of the Union speech live, an episode of ABC's "Commander in Chief," an episode of NBC's "The West Wing," or the episode of Fox's "The Simpsons" where Bart runs for class president?"

I'd sooner be forced to watch 'Hee-haw' reruns in a smokey, fart-filled doublewide.

7. Better question is, "Do you trust the government to tell you...
the truth about whether or not they have nukes.

Btw... when they asked what a president's most important speech is, I selected "other" and wrote, "His fucking RESIGNATION!!!"

Only 2 years and 10 months to go. That is, if * doesn't feel that it is vital in the interests of national security that he "stay on" until these conflicts are resolved (Mission Accomplished 2006-8)?

Who's going to object? Congress? The Senate? The Supreme Court? brrrrrrrrr...
