1. Good Night and Good Luck was my favorite

Brokeback Mountain was extremely well done but GNAGL gets my vote.

2. Brokeback
I think the cinematography, screenplay, and direction for Brokeback Mountain were superb, and should be the clear winner.

10. I think the cinematography award
should go to "The Constant Gardner" and screenplay and direction to "Brokeback Mountain". The camera moves and set ups on "The Constant Gardner" were superb.

3. I've seen both and it's tight - would choose Brokeback myself
but my friends are all telling me that "Crash" is really memorable, also.

5. They are all great. It was a great year for film lovers
well, just my opinion anyway.

I want GN&GL to win but I think Brokeback will - which is just fine with me.

6. Ok, i haven't seen it, but I have to ask --
if Brokeback wasn't a gay romance film, what would recommend it over any number of Hallmark Channel romance films?

Haven't seen it, and probably won't, not be cause of the gay theme but because romance films hold no interest for me.

8. It is no Hallmark romance movie...
It is a piece of serious gut-wrenching, heartbreaking drama.

I have seen it twice and am still haunted by it.

I have only ever been "haunted" by Hallmark's cheesiness.

7. I haven't seen Brokeback
but I would love to see GNGL win just to show the right that the left is alive and well and living in the spirit of Edward R. Murrow. :)

11. I understand your dilemma. Both are sensational films.
I also liked MUNICH, BEFORE THE FALL, and TRANSAMERICA.

2005 got off to a slow start but it sure picked up thrre toward the end.
