Need help answering my idiotic Representative |
|
Edited on Tue Jan-31-06 03:49 PM by DarleenMB
Living in Wyoming is wonderful except for the fact that most of the citizens are republicans. I received this email today from Barbara (I love to bake cookies) Cubin:
From: barbara.cubin@housemail.house.gov Subject: A Message From Congresswoman Barbara Cubin Date: January 31, 2006 7:22:53 AM MST To: djbaker@fiberpipe.net

Dear Darleen:
Thank you for sharing your thoughts with me regarding our action in Iraq. I appreciate your comments.
There have arisen claims that the Administration, or President Bush, were intentionally misleading regarding reports of Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) in Iraq. These claims are absent any factual evidence. On the contrary, in Iraq we have found mobile bio-weapon labs, Atropine stocks and chemical suits -- all harbingers of WMD programs. There is no question of Saddam Hussein's history of developing WMDs, his use of WMDs against his own people, his sponsorship of terrorism, and his continued intentions to develop WMD capabilities. Additionally, the published findings of the 9-11 Commission have confirmed that Iraq and al Qaeda had friendly ties. Iraqi officials even offered Osama Bin Laden safe haven in 1999.
We must also keep in mind our action was provoked by Saddam's continued violation of the United Nations Security Council's numerous resolutions and his violation of the terms of the cease-fire that ended hostilities after the Gulf War. And the mass graves, torture chambers and stories of brutality that have come to light are even more barbaric than we could have imagined. Clearly, the president was right to oust Saddam.
I nonetheless have serious concerns about shortcomings in our intelligence community, which is in need of updating if we are to face new and dangerous threats to national security and the safety of the American people. In December of 2004 Congress enacted the most comprehensive intelligence overhaul package since World War II. The law will improve intelligence sharing and coordination among federal agencies, without which we cannot expect to produce accurate intelligence estimates. Be assured I will keep your views in mind as Congress oversees the implementation of this law and considers any additional intelligence reform measures in the 109th Congress.
Thanks again for sharing your thought with me. Please keep in touch should you have any additional questions or concerns.
With warm regards,
Barbara Cubin Member of Congress
I don't even know where to begin. I am so irate that all I'm doing is calling her names.
Some help addressing this pack of lies would be greatly appreciated.
thanks.

2. Call her what she is: A liar. It gets easier the more you do it. |
|
I call Norm Coleman a liar two-three times a week. Sometimes by email, sometimes by phone.
What else can you do?

4. She's not just a kool-aid drinker |
|
She's pouring the powder directly in her mouth without adding water.
If you really want to respond give her an item by item rebuttal on everything she said. It can't be too hard to find references. But you're probably wasting your time on this oxygen stealer. Better yet send her letter and your responses to the newspaper, plaster copies on every telephone pole in town, etc.

5. Please accept my sympathies |

What an ignorant disgusting human being she is. How bout shame as a tactic.
So sad you are a slave to the bush media machine spewing forth lies to your constituents at taxpayers expense. And also so sad, that your garbage will be regurgitated by many of your constituents. Barbara, you and your kind are what is wrong with America. Our kids continue to die in the desert of Iraq because of jerkoffs like you.
Warmest regards, a voter in your district.

6. Thank her for her letter and run against her |
|
if there are 1000 or 3000 prople in the state that agree with you you can get enough signiatures to run, and when the newspaper asks why you are running just say its because she is a liar. no need to prevaricate, just out and out call her a bald face liar and dupe for bush.
You may only have one chance to get in the newspaper, but usually they will list and call for comment all the people that are running on the day they file. even if they are complete nut cases. If you are willing to just call her a liar often and regularly, they might give you a bit more coverage.
Short and sweet, keep the sound bites tight, offer evidence on paper, and just keep calling her a liar.

I was so upset I just missed that. duh.
Cubin just makes me so angry I could spit. My response to her last "missive" was to tell her she was spewing a load of horseradish. I figure if I'm semi-polite ONE of her aides might read my letters. I know she doesn't.
I mean, this is the woman who, when she was in the state legislature, baked penis shaped cookies for all the other representatives. She was also known for taking polaroid snaps of colleagues crotches and pinning them to her bulletin board so everyone could guess who was who.
THIS is what Wyoming sent to Washington.
Now you know why I dream of moving to Canada (New Zealand would be better but we aren't wealthy).

Ask her if all that is true...and it is worth some one to two trillion dollars, then why don't we pony up and increase taxes rather than weakening the future of America, by loading debt upon our children?
