2. I still think the GOP is fighting a battle they can not win

If they get what they want we will not have a country so that is out. The world is moving to wards a way of govt. where the federal takes over such things as medical care and steps in on how business are run. We are going that way as is the world. Even the Middle East will have to face women and people running their own life. Not just a few as rulers. Their will be a battle to get there. We have the the 20th century to make that point. Surely the world is better off than it was in 1900 in freedom. Clinton seemed to have it right and it seems to be where most of the people are. It is odd that even people who vote for Bush when they question how they think they are more in the line with Clinton. I have often talked to Rep. who vote for Bush yet think like Dem. I just find it so odd.
