3. It's kind of a lark. Something to lighten things up.
I've been knee deep in domestic spying, Alito, and the trashing of the constitution the past week, and tonight, we take on the SOTU speech.

So we did this as something light.

I like Clooney, and think he could win a senatorial seat, or perhaps governor of California. He's got the charm that we are sorely lacking.

2. Interesting idea. And he is a lot smarter than Reagan ever was.
Even before the Alzheimer's kicked in those last few years as President. And ever so much better looking.

4. He is a lot smarter than Reagan, and has a good heart.
In today's world, how you sell on TV is the whole ballgame.

Not saying that is good, but it's true.

6. And humor is a most important tool.
Sometimes we lefties just get sooo....serious. It can be a bit hard to take for the random clueless person.

7. Yeah. This is sort of a knock, knock joke.
I have to lighten things up some. Especially since I'm going much darker in a few hours. We're putting up the SOTU cartoon in about 3 hours, which is early, to coincide with Bush completeing his 38 minutes of SOTU speech. It's darker.

I feel like we're all in an Alito hangover, and nerves are on edge.

5. I agree -- it's for damned sure Clooney is more intelligent.
