And what a completely original idea!
ALL of them? Wow, that would be great! I can just imagine how amazingly spiffy a 100% GOP House and Senate would be. Do you have Karl Rove's number? You should call him, I'm sure he'd like to hear your idea.

2. Yeah, there's really NO difference... |

Sorry, but staying and supporting change is a better way to save the planet. I know, I used to quietly tilt at windmills myself. It gets ignored.

|
of night. If the dems were in the majority it would be different my frustrated friend. Which is why we have to keep fighting to get back the majority. That's worth sticking around for don't ya think?

16. Your post is incongruous with your OP. |
|
First you're going to stop being a Dem, and now you're worried about the vote fixing?
I'm making fun of your OP. Is that clear enough for you?

Leave already. We have work to do, and we don't need the sick, the lame or the lazy, and you appear to be all three.

If you disagree with the person, fine, but spewing insults serves no purpose.

21. What is the purpose of finger-wagging posts like this? |
|
Edited on Wed Feb-01-06 06:28 PM by Neil Lisst
If you want to defend the person making this thread, then do so, but take that wagging finger of yours and put it somewhere else. Why don't you worry about what you say, and I'll worry about what I say?
Some of us here are concerned about those who always malign the party and seem to be calling to others to follow them out.
I treat those people as traitors.

But in the last 2 years or so, the number of committed democrats who have been saying the very same thing has only skyrocketed.
There is in office a more corrupt, incompetent and divisive administration than ever before. Normally, one would think that democrats would be more unified and energized than ever, but that is not the case.
The fact that SO MANY people (myself included) feel this way - more fed up with the pathetic democrats than with the evil republicans) points out some very real and potentially fatal flaws in the party, and as long as Hillary, Obama, Holy Joe, and Hair-Plugs Biden keep telling us to make nice with Bush and all of his thuggish appointees, the hemorrhaging of faithful grassroots dems from the party will dontinue unabated, and we will probably end up with a beefed-up progressive third party and a weak, irrelevant democratic party.
The yellow-dogs would tell us that's exactly what the republicans want, but hey, the republicans are already getting EVERYTHING they want anyway, with only token, whimpering opposition from the dems, so WHAT'S THE DAMN DIFFERENCE?!
