Record Oil Profits, Government Subsidies & Tax Breaks.
Edited on Wed Feb-01-06 01:12 PM by jseankil
ExxonMobil 2005 Profit, over $36,000,000,000 A U.S. record.

Why does the energy bill that passed last year give the industry up to $2 billion for oil drilling research? Why does it include $100 million in reduced royalty payments for offshore drillers? Why Isn't the Democratic party making this a bigger issue?

93 percent of the bill's tax breaks were devoted to fossil fuels and nuclear energy, with 7 percent for renewable energy.

Here is a breakdown and article about the tax breaks and subsidies the governemnt has given the energy industry, it's from 2003.

Last night Bush talked about being addicted oil and he should know, he openy supports the dealers with tax breaks and subsides. Let's use Bush's words from last night with the facts and once again show the American people what this Administration is all about.

2. GA?
GA wasn't damaged during last summer's hurricanes. Do you mean Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana and Texas?
