My response to my Repuke co-worker when he asked me if I watched SOTU...

He said, "Well, if you Democrats wouldn't stand in our way, we could get things done."

I said, "How in the hell are we standing in your way? You control every branch of the government...the judicial, the executive, and the legislative. You guys have the power to change everything for the better, but all you do is screw it up."

He then started in on Alito, telling me how great it is that he is now part of the supreme court.

I said, "All his confirmation will do is lead us straight to back-alley abortions."

As he walked away from me, I thought that he didn't even know who Alito was until Bush submitted his name for the court.

4. I overheard someone at the PO talking about liars yesterday, and,

naturally, assumed he was referring to *. when questioned, he spit out ted kennedy's name. I kept my cool, didn't even bother asking how he felt about all the lies that come out of the administration, because, clearly, he is blinded by the dark.
