The other tee-shirt....
Sorry if Dup...

On Wednesday, the fallout began on the floor of the House, where C.W. Bill Young, one of the most mild-mannered members of Congress, blasted the Capitol police for ejecting his wife for wearing a shirt that said "support the troops - defending our freedom."

"Shame,

Does anyone know the source? Is it legit?

(There is another camera lens in the lower right corner. Surely one of these photogs managed to snap one of the actual bust!)

5. Neither of them should have been ejected or arrested.
Mrs. Young's sentiments are probably quite sincere, but maybe the Bushies' true feelings, which are UTTER CONTEMPT for the troops showed through just a little bit when they threw her out.

7. Funny how St Pete's Times doesn't bother to mention
...that Sheehan lost a son in Iraq. HEAVEN FORBID we can have any sympathy for her. Nooooo! All we get is "...a vocal opponent of the Iraq war, and frequent critic of President Bush...":eyes:

8. Because you are only allowed the right of free speech...
if you are expressing the "right" idea. When I watched her husband moan
and bitch about his poor little wife yesterday, it was obvious.

To not mention Cindy Sheehan in his spiel should have made it clear to
anyone with a brain. In this regime, dissent is not allowed.

And the Repuglicans are fine with that...at least while they are in control.

9. Does "Support The Troops" translate to "Kill The Troops"?
I in no way want to sound to harsh, but I support complete withdrawal immediately. I don't see how anyone knowing all the lies that got us to Iraq in the first place can't be uneasy wearing a shirt that asks for more Americans to be killed in this illegal and immoral war.
