He hates Bush and all the nonsense going on...

He is a republican since 1975 when he first registered to vote...

He isn;t ready to jump ship just yet...

1. ...
He isn't ready to jump ship just yet...

Then it ain't worth much. If he voted for this guy, and isn't "ready to jump ship" then in effect, nothing's changed now has it?

2. agreed. some rank-and-file republicans have learned to fake shame
they know that their non-banana republican acquaintances hate shrub and are put off by arrogant displays of banana republican loyalty. so they fake shame to avoid burning bridges. then they go back to their banana republican friends and laugh about the act they put on.

4. Keep at him.
Hammer home points about:

1. Katrina (Americans unprotected/what if they'd been attacked?)
2. The spend and debt anti-conservative fiscal behavior
3. The rush to step on individual rights (Patriot Act et al)
4. Scandal, scandal, scandal!

No self-respecting conservative can support this guy any longer.

6. Like my co worker
She is a registered Republican who voted for Bush in 2000 but not in 2004 (voted for JK). I was trying to get her to register as a Dem but she wouldn't. Family thing (this is CT and some people are like that). I told her "You are a wonderful person. You don't belong in the same party with these predators." She is thinking about what I said.
