Remember the Iron Eyes Cody anti-pollution ad? We need |
|
one of those with Washington, Lincoln, Jefferson, Franklin, Teddy Roosevelt all crying over different crap that this administration and congress has done.
Jefferson crying over the court
Lincoln crying over the treatment of the poor.
Washington crying of war for lies
Franklin crying over the Constitution and Bill of Rights
Roosevelt crying over the environment.

I love it! A great campaign add, or a theme to tie together several different ads.
Send this idea on to Dean and the DNC.
Or, conversely, get involved with a local campaign and suggest it there.

I think the only way we're going to win this thing is to put it in historic context eventually anyway.

11. Yes, and let's also revive, "This time the LEADERS are gonna fight |
|
their war."
It showed a small circle of men in suits, and the two world leaders, who were old or middle-aged guys in fancy suits, got in the middle and began to fight. You could hear their wheezing and panting--that sound you hear when old, out-of-shape, guys exert themselves.
And I think we need to make it mandatory that if any leader starts a war, HE HIMSELF must personally take part in the COMBAT.

12. Yes, we need something like that. Will a citizen's group (not DLC) do it? |
