Archaic Revival and Food of the Gods covers a lot of his psychedelic Hermeneutics. Apparently True Hallucinations is now only available in an edition with Archaic Revival if you'd like both.

Can't remember precisely when McKenna died--98? 99? Something like that. I spent one weekend with him back in 96 or so which confirmed to me that he was the kind of genius that it takes humankind a long time to catch up with. Is everything he says equally 'true'? No, but the catch is that our current frame of ordinary consciousness is itself heavily biased in directions that do not even remotely correspond to the complex and fractal nature of the cosmos. It is only in those moments where "I" realize that "I" am a dynamic and complex field of energy interacting with other fields of energy, some of them operating in quite different temporal dimensions, that 'truth' begins to take on clearer meaning.

13. WE know this... We have to shout it.

I am familiar with it and I suspect that most DUer's have thought about it over the course of the past couple of years. THIS is the roadblock in our path. This is what is keeping the momentum from crashing over the administration and sweeping them away like the 9th ward.

I can hear the voice of the American saying "No! THAT can't be true.. they WOULDN'T, they COULDN'T It's just too ridiculous!" It's the same way we react to horrors visited upon a baby... We can't fathom a mind that would conceive something so despicable.

This is why pictures matter. We have to hold their faces to it, and shake them by the shoulders and say "YES!.. YOU would never do anything this awful! BUT THEY DID!
