Are elected Democrats aware of the challenge we are facing ?

Are they aware that we are living in political times unlike any they have ever seen in the past and that voting the status quo is not an option. Our Constitution and way of life is under serious threat - not by outside terrorists but by our own leaders and Congress. To pretend these are just "partisan" squabbles between the two Parties is to ignore the reality that gnaws at your gut. The little voice that is whispering in their ear is real. It is telling them that something is seriously wrong...

We are faced with having the worst and most divisive president ever selected.

The GOP choose to back this elitist chickenhawk who committed our troops to die for purposes only known to him. They followed him blindly and without reason.

Our elected officials are rewarded handsomely to serve as a barrier between the corporate ruling class and all the rest of us.

It's hard to imagine they can't see what's happening around them. Unless they have become as isolated as Bush himself - his aides needing to record news footage of the devastation happening in NOLA after Katrina to get him up to speed.

I like how people either call them challenges or problems. Actually, problem never seems to be used much.

But would it be something like this...um, challenge?
