I FINALLY watched "Unprecedented: The 2000 Presidential Election" |
|
And I am SOOOOOOOOOOOO ANGRY!!! I know corruption and fraud are occurring at the speed of light these days, but I just have to take a moment and get pissed all over again at how the 2000 election was STOLEN!!!! and how different this world would be if we had fought harder to get Gore into his rightful place. DAMMIT!!! No wonder the assholes in power feel invincible. They, quite simply, pulled off a fucking coup! Purging the rolls of mostly Democratic black voters, not allowing votes to count.... ARRRRRRRGH!!!! :grr: :nuke:
I'm sorry to be bringing this up again so far after the fact; I don't really expect responses. I just needed to VENT! When all of this was occurring I remember catching snippets and bits and pieces here and there in the media, like the voter purges, and the fast work of the Supreme Court, but it was all happening so fast and there was so much noise coming at me from all directions. I knew something was not on the up and up, but did not realize at the time just how diabolical and unethical those MFers were! And they didn't even try to disguise what they were doing. It was so frigging blatant! No wonder they think they can do whatever they want. They have so much f-ing precedent!
OK. Sign me up. Put me to work. These MFers are going DOWN. It is time to put a stop to the insanity. I mean, what's it going to take to get enough of us pissed off enough to shut these MFers down?!!! Whose in charge? Who can I rally around and start getting to work?! This shit has got to stop!!! Now!!! With God and you all as my witness, I will not stop until the Machine has been shut down.

2. The documentary made a difference |
|
Not only did the exposure stop the 2004 purge, but it inspired a series of documentaries and one particular progressive pundit to expand her online presence.
I was staying with my mother at the time ... she's even listed in the ending credits.
It's taken this long for me to get my career back on track, but even during the worst times, I kept working - doing what I could, getting paid when it was possible.
Don't give up on yourself - I hadn't thought of Internet promotion but it turns out to be an expanding field. Perhaps you have more capabilities than you imagined ... if you've been given this second chance to take risks, please try.

3. I will be pissed off about it for the rest of my life, never again |
|
can this happen again, 2000 & 2004 were both coups against the American public and stole our nation from us. WE must continue to battle until we win her back again so that the American Dream is a reality once again for all who live within her borders.

4. I will NEVER recover from the 2000 election. |
|
I was so upset, I was hospitalized with GI bleeding.
One thing that was some solace was a scene in Fahrenheit 9/11 that depicted the riot along the inaugural route. I hadn't heard about all the protesters. It was a beautiful sight.
And I think we should re-elect Gore in 2008.
